A gardener at the Botanic Gardens in Amsterdam. It was great to see how imaginative the Dutch were in their gardening compositions. Everything that had to do with plants or trees was extremely well looked after and often quite extreme in its presentation too. There was something about the way they manipulated the nature around them but at the same time fully respecting it and considering its value in a city. It made a difference. This is in the glasshouse of the Gardens, we went here after a long day. The colours are great in this picture.
